Description:

For Better Or Worse, Tyler Perry’s sit-com centers around two of Perry’s favorite characters from the big screen- Marcus and Angela. Marcus and Angela were first introduced to the world in Tyler Perry’s blockbuster hit feature films… “Why Did I Get Married”, and “Why Did I Get Married Too”.

For Better Or Worse is a not-so-subtle situation comedy that follows the zany and sometimes tumultuous relationship of the lovesick couple. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White are back to reprise their roles in the half-hour show. Michael plays Marcus, an ex football player turned sports commentator who owns his own sports talk show. Tasha Smith also resumes her role as Angela, the edgy and outspoken wife of Marcus who is dedicated to her husband, children, and marriage. The show also follows the lives of those who Marcus and Angela call their friends. There is Joseph, Marcus’ best friend and business partner. Joseph is left devastated by his breakup with long-time girlfriend, Leslie. Tired of waiting for a proposal from Joseph, Leslie has moved on to bigger and better things while staying focused on her career and her undying friendship with Angela. Keisha, Marcus’ ex- continues to cause a world of trouble for the group of friends and colleagues. And Jennifer and Todd are still as crazy as ever.

For Better Or Worse is ground breaking television, and is one of the biggest TV shows movie mogul Tyler Perry has ever produced. The sets, high fashion, and the strikingly good looking cast come together to create a truly sexy and provocative half-hour of television. Viewers will experience a fresh approach to the traditional sit-com format that will provide all the elements of well-crafted storytelling and the raw intrigue of reality TV. For Better Or Worse explores the controversial and joyous moments associated with marriage and dating in a 21st Century world. And like always, viewers will leave with life changing messages that have become a trademark of the Perry brand of entertainment. Don’t miss the next Tyler Perry hit… For Better Or Worse.

For Better or Worse is an excellent show. It gives some positive points for women and men as well. Especially for men to look out for women like Keisha. That was a great story line. Just don't let Richard go to jail, he has been through enough with Keisha. Keep up the great works, and keep producing great show worth watching.

We live in a Society where everything is out in the open and no accountability is attached to it, parents and teenagers alike watch your shows like it's a right of passage. I think you're very creative and very well on pulse w/ a lot of things that happen in the world, I love FBOW and look forward to seeing it every Friday night but, to have her not love him, then take everything he has and still provoke him w/ no consequences is overboard and borderline dangerously sending the wrong message to all that watch this show. If Loving You Is Wrong sends the wrong message as well. To be quite honest they all sends messages that make you sit at the edge of your seat, scratch your head and cringe at the same time. Now, all of them shed light on current situations through out this country, we just need to see it place in the right frame!

Tyler my friend do hear the backlash from that last episode? Now violence is wrong in any light, but I'd have to say Keisha was definitely wrong without question. I am one of your biggest supporters being from Louisiana, I'm right there with the rest of your supporters and the story definitely needs to be told as it should be told - TRUTHFULLY"

Waatchig last episodes on On Demand. I watched because I thought you would finally get Keisha under cotrol. She started the fight, she was physical and her mouth cuts like a sword. Her character is so awful that I'd stopped watching the show. Came across the description and I thought, FINALLY! Instead it's more of the same. I don't condone domestic violence against anyone but you've got to tell a more balanced story. I've been a victim myself so I get it. I was also raised to know that if you come at a man, like a man and you get treated like a man... Being a female doesn't give you the right to act like fool, to bully others (because that's what she does). The characters are not stupid people, there are a ton a ways to legally check someone like Keisha. Send me an e-mail when you finally deal with her madness. These shennangians are keeping people away from the show. This could have been a great meassage but it was told in such an uneven manner that the value is lost.

I absolutely agree! With all the cameras in that establishment, you mean not one of them caught her pushing his head and saying the awful things she said? I can't believe that to be true. Right is right and wrong is wrong and she is wrong as two right feet! He was wrong for slapping her, no ifs, ands, or butts about it. She was wrong for initiating the first domestic abuse with the verbal lashings and then the physical head pushing a couple of episodes ago.

Mr. Perry: after watching tonight's episodes, I was extremely angry, not at the characters, but at you and your writers. I in no way condone domestic violence, but I do not condone domestic violence from either party. Your Keisha character not only psychologically provoking your Richard character, but she was also physically abusive. She hit him FIRST!!! As a retired police officer, I have handled more than my share of domestic violence, and the one thing I know is that women have this skewed perception of the power they hold insofar of having the man arrested even if they hit him first, as Keisha did with Richard. Laws for assault and/or battery do NOT say that if a man hits a woman, he goes to jail; the laws state that the aggressor goes to jail. So, in this case, Keisha started the fight by poking Richard in the face. By law, Keisha should have gone to jail with Richard!!! While I applaud your efforts to advocate for the end of domestic violence, you need to advocate for both women AND men. Women need to be told that if you start a physical fight, there are only two outcomes: either you win, or you lose. You don't get the right to put the man in jail because you started a fight you could not win. Everybody needs to keep their hand to themselves. To take this a few steps further, men who are physically abused by women need to start having these women arrested. This, I assure you, would deter women so cavalierly physically provoking their situation.

Carol White thank you, it angers me every time I see shows like this where they always show the woman as the victim. Keisha is one of those women that thinks that she can hit you but you better not hit me. My parents and grandparents taught me at an early age that men hit back. Mr. Perry I was highly displeased with this particular show because of the one sidedness. Richard also would be considered a victim of domestic violence verbally and physically and they both should have gone to jail. I understand where Mr. Perry was going with this but , you dropped the ball when Richard was only labeled the abuser and Keisha was the victim. We need to wake up and hold both parties accountable for their actions in situations like this. Mr. Perry do the right thing and show that domestic violence is wrong no matter if you are a man or woman.

I don't think anyone (writers, Perry, Producers, ) even/ever reads our posts. You see how old those 'popular posts' are? They haven't even taken the time to update this page. Shows you how much they think of us! So I guess another show from Tyler Peryy will soon be gone...b/c if the first show of the new season - if there is one - has the same mess - I'M DONE!!!
