The Oval Television

The Oval is a new dramatic television series that captures the volatile relationship between the President, First lady, and First children as they navigate their new life in the White House.

Hunter and Victoria Franklin have risen to the highest office in the United States as the President and First Lady of America. Although Hunter has touted his strong family values on the campaign trail, his family unit is far from strong, and abhorrently absent of any values or virtue. President Franklin (Ed Quinn) is a victim of his wife’s ambitions of being one of the most powerful couples in the world. However, he is less interested in running the country and more interested in having multiple affairs. Victoria (Kron Moore), the brains behind the entire operation, comes from great wealth and prestige. She handpicked her white husband, Hunter in college to be the one she would use to get into every corner of society. Their son Jason (Daniel Croix Henderson) is a deviant who spends most of his time slithering around the White House. His sister Gayle (Paige Hurd), a rebellious teenager, goes to extreme measures to defy every wish of her parents. Richard Hallsen (Javon Johnson) is the loyal lead butler and proud family man who has served in the White House longer than anyone there. His wife Nancy Hallsen (Ptosha Storey) is a devoted and praying woman who is a powerful matriarch for her family.

Other characters in the series include Sam Owen (Walter Fauntleroy) the honorable and trustworthy lead Secret Serviceman and his devoted wife Priscilla (Taja V. Simpson). They are both devoted White House staffers who try to always operate with integrity. This is a great juxtaposition to others who have entered the White House with the new First Family. Donald Winthrop (Lodric Collins), the new Chief of Staff is powerful and ruthless. Donald, like his partner in crime-Kyle Flint (Brad Benedict) will stop at nothing to protect the presidency and their own high crimes and misdemeanors. The Oval is a poignant look behind the veil. The provocative storylines make it clear that things are almost never what they appear to be in public.
