Hello Tyler, My name is Rob I am an aspiring film maker . I went to school for TV and Film at Rider University in NJ. I have never met you personally but was on the Set of one of your up and coming films " WE THE PEOPLES" . I was there shadowing the script supervisor, as an externship for school. I have always been a fan of your work and I hope someday I actually get to work with you creatively. The other night my friend and I were thinking of some interesting film Ideas for a comedy script, and randomly we thought of "MADEA GOES TO JAMAICA". The Story is centered around a Destination Wedding turned upside down and flipped inside out. Family secrets are uncovered and hidden romances are revealed. The Bride to Be Leandra is a Bridezilla with a capitol B for Boujie and is is extremely controlling over Madea's grandson Charles. Charles has broke his back and the bank to make the wedding and vacation possible. However, it still isn't enough for Leandra. Will Madea stand for it ? Madea's main interest besides sabotaging the wedding is to connect with her Jamaican 1st cousin Shadea .When Madea realizes that her cousin lives on a ganja farm , she could not be more at home. Also attending the wedding , is Jacob, Madea's 21 year old nephew. Jacob has been hiding his sexual identity from the family. Jacob's father is very critical, and extremely tough on him. He has always suspected his son of being g** and feared that one day he would admit it. While visiting Shadea's house, Jacob meets Shadea's neighbor's son Kendrick, who is also secretly g** . Kendrick and Jacob hit it off and instantly become friends. Kendrick and Jacob become allies and finally develop the courage to come out to their families. For Jacob the experience is bittersweet, the majority of his family accepts and embraces him except his father. For Kendrick the experience is not at all comforting. Kendricks family dis owns him and he is violently and verbally harassed by the rest of his neighborhood. The day before the wedding comes and the family's love for one another is truly put to the test. At the rehearsal dinner Jacob makes a toast to his family which is interrupted by his drunken enraged father. Upset and angry Jacob runs off to meet up with Kendrick, only to find out that Kendrick ran away because he was assaulted and almost burned alive. Back at the dinner Leandra and Charles still argue while the rest of the family enjoys the party . Will Leandra and Charles make it through the ceremony? Will Madea be able to pull her family back together this time, without getting arrested or deported? Will Jacobs father ever except him? What happened to Kendrick, and will Jacob be able to help him face his family and society? Will the family ever take a vacation together again? Tyler I know that you could do amazing things with this story. If you like what you see or have any Ideas on how I could make it better contact me . -Rob

I have been here and it's not worth it. What you see in your mind is not what you get. This movie can help women who are contemplating adultery make the decision not too. I am so looking forward to this movie.

Wow, I guess everybody is entitled to their opinion; that's what helps you to see the many facets of your impact on people...thank you for continuing to expand and not be limited by those who have not grown with you! Tell your story however you feel led to tell it, and let the chips fall where they may. Oh yes, awesome inspiration in your "well" story...like many others, I felt compelled to give up, but TODAY that e-mail was a great encouragement to me; I'm diggin' deeper!!!! So keep writing, keep telling your story, keep evolving, creating, sharing, growing and loving bigger...you touch so many lives in a positive way...hope you always remember that!!

Troy, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. You are certainly in the right place (in school). Have you tried everything? Asking or requesting a loan from the school, banks, applying for a credit card? Asking counselors if there are any untapped grants or federal funding of any kind? Keep trying, keep praying, and I am sure God will grant you your needs. Stay in school, so you can inspire others to do the same. God Bless,
