In tears watching this. What you have given to the world and the people in it is Grace in the face of your naysayers. I can hardly type yet I want to say THANK YOU!!! In the Bible it says, "To whom much is given much is required.". Mr. Perry you have fulfilled the requirement Exceedingly and Abundantly. May God continue to show you Favor in all that you bring to this world. You have already left an indelible mark on this world.
I love this video because we see right before our eyes how the good outweighed the bad. It's a blessing that you have touched so many people! One day I hope to do the same. I love that last line you said. "You can be born in a nightmare but God'll usher you into a dream!"
I watched the inspirational vides and I do thank you. I have been so discouraged because people would say you're too old to write books, you're too old to play in a movie and it's so depressing. I do thank you for posting the videos.
The Light of the Lord does Always shine through, Amen to that! In Christ, Kari
I am going thru a lot. Just hearing these about you gives me hope. You brought me to tears.

Hey Mr. Tyler Perry, just want to appreciate you for great and inspiring job that you do, you are a point of light of many including myself in this dark world. God bless you.
In 1988 I was an extra in the Miami Vice series "Baseball Of Death" It was a non-speaking role, but after another actor (extra) with lines kept messing up on his mark and lines, Don Johnson asked me it I thought I could do the role. without a doubt, I replied. Nailed it! The special guest star Mr. Tony Plano came up to me and said I was a natural act. He gave me a few numbers, and said call me, we need hispanic actors, I'll fly you to Cali. I left the phone numbers inside my costume pants pocket. 19 years later I divorced and moved from Fl. to Ga. My love for acting was reborn, so I thought. God had other plans. I did some acting but it was only a tool God was using to introduce me to what he wanted me to do. As a retired cop I found myself helping screenwriters with their "Cop movies" One day out of nowhere, acting took a back seat, and somehow I felt as if God told me to write for him and his Glory. God closed the doors on me until there was only one door left . Since crossing that threshold, I've written and created a few screenplays and many more in my head to include a show for the food & health network and a sitcom. Now I'm just waiting for God's time, for he's in the Director's Chair!
