Description:

Sparks fly when Wade Walker (Craig Robinson) crashes the preppy Peeples annual reunion in the Hamptons to ask for their precious daughter Grace's (Kerry Washington) hand in marriage. Wade might be a fish-out-of-water among this seemingly perfect East Coast clan, but he's not about to let himself flounder. Instead, in a wild weekend of fun, dysfunction and hilarious surprises, Wade is about to discover there's more room for all kinds of Peeples in this family, no matter their differences. Writer and first-time director Tina Gordon Chism (writer of DRUMLINE) joins forces with Tyler Perry to present a laugh-out-loud look at the family ties that freak us out... but bind us together with love.

Mr Perry, Wow you truly are incredible! Peeples was very well written an executed I truly enjoyed the characters and the overall production! I had made a post a few weeks ago and and am still anxious for your reply! Just a refresher, I am a senior in college and have been blessed with the opportunity to continue my education in Australia at the University of Western Sydney. I am financially unable to fund it alone, however I am not asking for a handout I am only asking for support, prayer, and advice on how to reach my goal in such a short time! Just as when you come out with a new movie and have faith it will be successful I have faith that God will continue to bless me as we'll as allow me to be a blessing to others and I too will be successful in this endeavor and many more to come! I thank you for being an inspiration to me and I wish you an abundance of future successes!

You always say do not let setbacks and disappointment discourage you. Well i am really interested in playing in one of your movies. I am hoping you will give me that opportunity. I have a great idea for a good movie. It's about a homeless women that was sleeping in a door way for eight years. But with the help of a nun she got her life back again. It is a great recovering story. It is an amazing story that i would love to work with you on. Please give me that change. You're in charge! Looking forward to hearing back from you real soon. I know what you have been praying for. I saw you in the spirit praying, siting at a table of some sort early this year . Now I do have to be careful for what I post here . I not really good at keeping up with all the movies , but a great move of God is on the way. I see your studios expand though out the country, making hollywood like small, I even see you here in the bay area , Califorina. You are a mover, shaker, world history, and changer. You just don't know man I don't you heard me . I will leave this saying as a mark from me,I 'm about my father from heaven buiness and you will know me.

Tina Gordon Chism did an awesome job in her Directorial debut and Writing of the movie "Peeples"!!! Wow...I Laughed from Beginning to End (Literally)!!! I am so glad TP helped her with her first of many movies, so she will know everything from A to Z as to what to do and what not to do in this industry. He is such a good role model for up & coming writers & directors. I look forward to her future films and hope she makes them even lengthier as this one was only an hour & a half. Can't wait for the DVD to be Released in September!!! :))

Mr. Perry, Wow! Where do I begin. You are just amazing and phenomenal at your craft. I'm such a big fan of yours and make it my business to see your movies the first weekend they come out. Thank you for all you do for our black actors and actresses. You give everybody the chance to display their talents and without you their roles would continue to be limitless. I wish I could just shake yor hand and say job well done. Keep doing what you do at representing us. YOU'RE THE MAN, MR.PERRY!!!!!!

It is wonderful that you took time to contact me to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. I pray that I have one but my mother is not here anymore and I miss her more and more. I haven't seen the movie yet but I am looking forward to doing so. I know it is great as all of your other movies. I have a collection of everyone of them that have come out for sale. I keep them in my bedroom so no one can see them and ask to borrow one. Thanks for all that you do to keep your people uplifted, inspired, and especially making us laugh. Again, thanks Tyler

I saw the movie last Wed. during a sneak preview. I was very happy to see that you are being an inspiration to a new up and coming director/writer. It is great that you use your talents to help other. This is something that you don't see too much of in a profession. Most of them want to keep their talents contained and do not help others to further their goals in life. This is selfish. I am so glad that you help others (actors, actresses, directors and writers) THANK YOU Tyler for sharing your talents with others. It is hard to make it in some professions and others need someone to open that door for them. The movie was funny. I laughed the entire movie. She is on her way.

I and a friend saw the movie last night and enjoyed it but was disappointed that it wasn't the "usual" Tyler Perry movie content. I like all of your "feel good" movies and plays with Madea especially because I can relate to so many of them. Last night there were only 6 people in the audience when the "student/teacher scene" and other sexual inuendos appeared like "grinding action" (I felt uncomfortable as did a couple of others of the 6 in the audience. I should have guessed with the small audience that this wasn't your film. I am looking forward to your next film. Thank you for listening Mr. Tyler.
