It's Time To Break Through

First, let me just say thanks for another great weekend for Temptation. The movie is doing just what I hoped it would do. It is speaking to marriages and relationships all over. Thank you for seeing it in the theaters. It really is changing lives.

Now on to why I'm writing. It's about 6am here. Really quiet. The kind of quiet where even a still small voice can sound like a scream. I was sitting here thinking about the first time I took a flight on a small private jet. Many of you know that I'm an aviation buff. I love planes and flying. That's crazy, seeing as how my passion for it started out as a way to get over my fears. And my first flight was my scariest.

That morning, when I got to the airport, it was cloudy, raining and cold. I told the pilots that I was a nervous flyer and asked how the weather was. He said, "it’s rough down low but great up high." Now I'm looking at the sky, it didn't look so great up high to me. But I said a prayer and got on. We took off. It was so turbulent. I was bouncing all over the place. I sat there thinking, "why would they tell me the weather was fine?"

After about ten minuets of being bounced around I asked the pilots why it was so rough. They told me that it would get better as soon as they were allowed to climb higher. I asked who was holding us at that altitude and they said Air Traffic Control. There were a lot of planes in the area and for our own safety we had to stay at that altitude. I sat down, bouncing around some more, white knuckled and all, until the flight attendant told me that we had just been cleared to climb higher. I felt the plane pitch up and the thrust of those powerful jet engines kick in. We bounced around some more. It seemed to have gotten worse. Visibility through my window was non-existent. I was about to ask them to land and let me off the plane. But then we broke through the clouds. There was the sun and the air was so smooth that it didn't even feel like we were moving.

By now, I'm sure you're wondering, "why am I reading all this?" Well, I’ll tell you. Flying through rough weather is a lot like making it through life. Sometimes there are a lot of dark clouds, a lot of bad moments. So bad that you want to give up or turn around like I wanted to. Sometimes you can't go higher because something or someone is trying to hold you back or you're being held at that altitude for your own safety. Sometimes you’re not ready to go higher. God is protecting you from yourself because he knows that you can’t handle going higher. Sometimes he’s hiding you, preparing you to be ready. (That gave me a million thoughts. I’ll save that for another email). Sometimes it's so dark you can't see which way to go. But just like air traffic control had to give us permission to go higher, this morning I wanted to give you permission to go higher. Climb!! The weather is so much better up there. The sun is shinning bright up higher. Stop living your life so low.

Now it's not going to be easy to get through those clouds. You’re going to have to hold your head up and use all the strength in your soul to get through, but you will. Use prayer as your fuel and go higher. You have just been given permission to climb higher. Fly above it all.

Is This Temptation a M0vie on DVD ? As I read about the Plane Flight on the Cold, and rainy day, I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard. My eyes we're so full of tears , because I had laughed so hard , I nearly fell off of my Chair. I have never Flew On a Plane. If I ever have to , I will make sure it is a Beautiful Day ! I wasn't laughing at you. It was the story of your First Plane Flight, that had me laughing so hard. All that bouncing around , just about discouraged me , like I said, I will make sure it is a Beautiful Day. If this movie is on DVD in the near future. I would love to see it. Thank You. Sincerely , Margielee Penn

I am so thankful for your words in this article. It truly ministered to me. For the past 2 years, I have been so utterly and completely stuck! In life decisions, in moving on my dreams and goals....everything. Its like I am in this "holding pin" and all I want to do is "break out, move forward, and go" but can"t. I am in constant communication with God, seeking Him and His plan for me (so I can move on it), However there is this cloud of fear and anxiety that's been following me for the pass 2 years. I am pressingb through though and your current and even past letters have really encouraged me to know that I am not alone and that God send messages through His angel's (you) to encourage His people. Thank you for listening to Him speak to your heart to encourage all of us!

Sitting her reading your latest comment, it gives me renewed confidence that our time is not GOD's time. Facing the possibility of a job lost in approximately 6 weeks, the challenges that I am facing is only pushing me out of my confort zone. I am being prepared for higher flights. Your latest movie was GREAT!

Hey, Tyler. What's going on with you, bro! This is such a great article that you've written, and I gotta say that I am motivated and inspired by it very, very much. So with that being said, I am gonna come straight out and ask you. Have you, yourself personally, stepped outside of the norm of what you usually do for your foundation, your cast members that you employ and other foundations and charities that you may donate to and donate or give to a total stranger? When I speak in terms of giving to a total stranger, I talking about assisting them in attaining their goals and dreams, especially if they aren't able to accomplished those goals and dreams on their own due to exhausting all of their resources and just basically not having the finances themselves. One other question, do you think that it's unrealistic or maybe uncommon or perhaps silly to go from being on a fixed income to owning a multitude of businesses, an exclusive home and all the favorite fine vehicles parked in the driveway of one's dream? I'll definitely like to hear your feedback because I am that person that wants to accomplish all of my goals and my dreams, and like you, from seeing you on the Steve Harvey show like a few days ago, I, too, would like to be a dad as well; to leave all of my assets, etc to him or her one day. But this can't happen for me due to not even being able to at least accomplish my dreams of becoming a successful, multiple business owner and home owner. I've even made a personal facebook page with all of my dreams and goals that I want to acquire. The search is "dreaminforthedream."
