The official trailer for Tyler Perry’s new Netflix feature “Straw” — which is slated to begin streaming on June 6th — is out now. 

To celebrate the trailer’s release, “Straw” star Taraji P. Henson visited her co-star Sherri Shepherd on SHERRI to talk about her experience working on the film. Watch Henson’s full interview here. 

“Straw” is Tyler Perry and Taraji P. Henson’s fourth movie together, the latest project to come out of their long-standing creative relationship. Written, directed and produced by Perry, the film stars Henson as a single mother who faces a series of unfortunate events that lead her down an unexpected path. The film also stars Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Glynn Turman, Sinbad, and Rockmond Dunbar.
