The official trailer for Tyler Perry’s Netflix series “Beauty In Black” — which is slated to begin streaming on Thursday, October 24th — is now live and giving viewers a peek into the show.

“Beauty In Black” is written, directed, and produced by Perry, and stars Taylor Polidore Williams, Crystle Stewart, and Amber Reign Smith among others. The series follows two women who, despite their differences, eventually find themselves entangled in each other’s lives.

“Beauty in Black” is Perry’s first original series for Netflix, and is part of their previously announced multi-year first-look series deal that extended his ongoing creative partnership with the streamer. In addition to Perry, Angi Bones and Tony Strickland serve as producers for the show.

The 16-episode series is set to drop in two parts, with the first eight episodes available in October and the remaining episodes released at a later date.
