
Tyler Perry’s BET series “Sistas” is off to a strong start with its tenth season. Deadline shares that according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel data, the premiere episode delivered 1M total viewers in its first 3 days, starting with its initial airing on January 7th.
BET shares that viewership for “Sistas” is up double digits from the prior season launch. Excluding sports and news, the show’s Season 10 premiere was the top cable telecast among Black viewers on premiere day, particularly in the adults 18-49 demo.
Written by Courtney Glaude, directed by Armani Ortiz, and executive produced by Tyler Perry, “Sistas” follows a group of single Black women as they navigate their complicated love lives, careers, and friendships through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. They must navigate this new-age dating scene as they search for love in their 30s.
