The cast of Tyler Perry’s latest project in his creative partnership with Netflix, Tyler Perry’s Doing Life, has been announced. Deadline reports that the drama will star Naomi Baker (All American: Homecoming) and Jay Reeves (The Six Triple Eight), leading an ensemble cast that also includes Tamberla Perry, Karen Obilom, Jasmine Sargent, and Danielle Moné Truitt.

Doing Life is a gritty and gripping urban drama that explores the life of a single mother fighting for survival and a reformed ex-con with untapped talent who come together to forge an unexpected bond. In addition to Perry, Angi Bones and Tony L. Strickland will serve as the film’s producers. Stay tuned for more news on this upcoming project.
