Tyler Perry announced via his Twitter account last week that he will have a book out this fall. Higher is Waiting, published by Random House, will be available in hardcover and ebooks on November 14th, 2017 but preorder purchases can be made now on the Random House site.

Perry says the book is a collection of teachings he gathered from his own experiences, for those readers who want to climb higher in their lives and pull themselves up to a better, more fulfilling place. He ends his Twitter announcement with, “I promise you it’s going to bless you.”

Although not the first time Mr. Perry has authored a book, Higher is Waiting will mark a distinct change of direction to a much more personal narrative of his journey from shy boy to Hollywood mogul, philanthropist, and creative spirit.
