“Sistas” adds more series regulars to the mix

Tyler Perry’s Sistas—the latest series to come from Perry’s multi-year deal with Viacom—has added a new wave of series regulars, welcoming Chido Nwokocha, DeVale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Kevin Walton, and Anthony Dalton to the show.

The new one-hour comedy written and directed by Perry for BET is set around a group of single black women as they navigate the highs and lows of dating while balancing careers, families, and so much more. Nwokocha, Ellis, Jordan, Walton, and Dalton join KJ Smith, Ebony Obsidian, Mignon Von, and Novi Brown, bringing the love story drama to the female-centric tale.

Chido Nwokocha will play Gary Marshall Borders, a handsome smooth-talker marked by success who can’t get Andi (played by KJ Smith) off of his mind. DeVale Ellis will play Zac, Karen’s (played by Ebony Obsidian) boyfriend who spends his days working at the airport focusing on his lofty dreams; Brian Jordan Jr. is playing Maurice, a bank teller who works with Sabrina (played by Novi Brown). The show will also star Kevin Walton as Aaron Carter, a sensitive man fresh off of a tough break up and Anthony Dalton as Calvin Rodney, a successful real estate agent with exceptional charm.

Stay tuned for more on Sistas!
