Meet the Browns follows the misadventures of Tyler Perry’s beloved Leroy Brown. When Brown’s father, Pop Brown, dies and leaves Brown his old house, Brown discovers a letter asking him to “Take care of the old--” Brown later discovers that there was a second page that finished that sentence: “--Thunderbird in the garage”. By then it’s too late, he’s already opened “Brown Meadows”, a home for seniors.

Thinking he’s carrying out his daddy’s wishes, Brown enlists the help of Cora (his daughter), Will (his nephew), and Will’s wife, Sasha, a nurse. Soon, because of a fire at a nearby seniors home, Brown Meadows is filled and Brown is overwhelmed.

His new residents include Miss Daisy (an aging B-movie actress who lives in the past, and the many different characters she played in her career), Colonel Cleophus Jackson (an ex-Marine who won’t give Brown an inch), and Ms. Edna (who’s still very in touch with her sexuality, like “Blanche” in Golden Girls).

Soon, they are joined by the handyman, Jesús, who's studying to be a lawyer and two foster children, Brianna and Joaquin, who have been tossed around from home to home. Brianna and Joaquin finally find refuge in Brown’s house even though it seems to be an odd match. Finally, the gorgeous and not-too-smart London Sheraton (a very spoiled celebrity/heiress) is brought to Brown Meadows to serve her community service for a DUI conviction.

With a lot of laughter and some lessons about life, Brown and the residents of Brown Meadows learn to live with and love each other.

My family and I have been looking for new episodes of Meet the Brown's. The show is a family favorite and we get lots of laughs from the show. I would like to see a clothing line around Cora's wardrobe. I am a size 14 but top heavy. Cora's outfitts would be perfect for work and casual days.

I have been watching for the new season to start, and finally googled it. I can't believe this show was cancelled. Mr. Brown makes me laugh even when I don't want to laugh. I tape the old ones, and when I'm really down I will watch some of them. I always keep some in my DVR. This is good, clean comedy. Please reconsider and bring us back some Brown!!! Please, Please, Please.......

I have been a fan of Meet the Browns since it first aired. I'm highly upset that it has been cancelled. I love the whole cast especially my boy Lerory Brown he is too funny, but I will say the show should've had a little more drama like House of Payne not too much just more than it was though. PLEASE BRING IT BACK Mr. Perry!!!! I've watched this show so much that I've begun to act like Lerory Brown on most occasions lol.

Mr. Perry, I thought that I had read where "Meet the Browns" was canceled last November. I don't understand why it was canceled. I watch it in the mornings during my dialysis treatments and it keeps me laughing and makes my treatment time go by. I hope TBS would reconsider and bring it back for more new episodes. I loves David and Tamela Mann. They are perfect as Mr. Brown and Cora Simmons. They are my favorites! I love your work Mr. Perry. Thank you for all of your work in entertaining all of your fans.

Mr. Perry, when I moved to the US I went to live with my sister in PA and she introduced me to Media and I fell in love with her right away. I have watched all of her movies but I never sat down to watch an episode of "Tyler Perrys' meet the Browns". After I moved out of my sisters' she would always talk to me about an episode that she saw of "meet the browns" and one day I said to myself "let me sit down and watch this episode to see what is all about," and I'm so glad I did. Now I don't miss a show and I love everything about it. Real life situations and it always teaches people how to deal with everyday situations in a better way. You are a great actor Mr. Perry and a great producer. God bless you and keep up the good work. We need more programs like this.

Mr. Perry, your talent is awesome you give promise and advice to all your sitcoms. Meet the Browns has dealt with topics everyday people was dealing with at the time. Please, bring this joy back to the screen this year. House of Paynes, all I can say is" Wow"you really took us there everyone... just waiting for the next week showning. I'm so happy to have seen you're bring back For Better or Worse...it made people upset because the show cancelled so quickly not knowing the outcome. God is truly blessing you with a gift...keep it coming. God Bless
