Description:

From prolific, writer, director, producer Tyler Perry, The Haves and the Have Nots is a new television drama that follows the complicated dynamic between the rich and powerful Cryer family and the hired help who work in their opulent mansion set in Savannah, Georgia.

From the outside, the Cryers are the enviable face of success and wealth, but behind the veil the family’s dysfunction threatens to destroy their world of privilege. Cryer family patriarch Jim Cryer (John Schneider) is a powerful judge whose double-life, including tawdry affairs with high-priced escorts, puts his family and political ambitions at risk. His wife, Katheryn Cryer (Renée Lawless), is the ultimate matriarch portraying a loving and dutiful wife, but she is willing to do anything to protect her family’s status. Their son Wyatt (Aaron O’Connell) is a troubled angry jock who cares little for his own image and finds himself in and out of rehab. His sister Amanda (Jacyln Betham), a struggling law student, tries harder to live up to her parents’ expectations, but unknowingly has befriended a scurrilous young woman, Candace Young, with the power to ruin the entire family.

Hanna Young (Crystal Fox) is the Cryer’s maid and the matriarch of her family. Despite having no money, she has found other types of wealth through religion and virtue. She prides herself on her dutiful son Benny (Tyler Lepley), the glue who helps keep the family together. Hanna does have one dark secret, however, her estranged daughter Candace (Tika Sumpter)—a manipulative opportunist who will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Other characters in the series include the Cryer’s chef Celine (Eva Tamargo), their wealthy friends Veronica (Angela Robinson) and David Harrington (Peter Parros), and son Wyatt’s rehabilitation counselor, Jeffery Harrington (Gavin Houston).

January 28, 2015*****Nurture your sense of thanksgiving. Deliberately develop a grateful heart, because in so doing you will open the door for greater blessings. Grumbling and complaining will hinder the flow of good things in your life, says the Lord. This, for some, will take considerable effort to establish new attitudes and patterns of behavior, but it will be well worth the hard work it takes to overcome negativity. 1 Timothy 6:6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

I really enjoy the show. I sense a problem which I think in the long run will have a negative affect on ratings. The story line moves much too slow and that being a fact people will begin to get bored and may stop watching. Honestly I too have been tempted to stop watching because it just drags along. It's bad enough the ten thousand commercials we TV viewers have to endure. The thing that has me hanging on by a thread is the story line, but I don't know guys if that's going to keep me as a viewer much longer. Speed up the action to keep us hungry from week to week. I am bedridden due to an illness which gives me opportunities to view a lot of television and internet viewing of programs. I may resort to waiting until the season is over then go online and watch the episodes simultaneously for a couple of hours instead of watching week to week

When the show ended last season with Amanda running with the gun and the gun shot went off it haunted me and terrified me more than words can say. Tonight seeing Amanda with the blood in her hair brought me to the day I found my dad. I was 12 when my dad shot himself in the head. He was mentally ill. Tonight I saw my daddy, not Amanda. This happened January 24, 1974, yet it felt like it just happened tonight and I can't stop crying. You have a great show and I am truly feeling the emotions because it was real for me.

Okay! I had already figured out that Amanda was shot or dead before tonight; my curiosity had been cured. Hanna did a decent job on Benny but she needs to turn up on him a little more. Why is Jeffery still playing the g** role? He needs to strip down and show that Melissa what he can work with. Anyways, I enjoyed the show tonight. Cant wait to see if Candace has a little sympathy for Jim when the media announces that his daughter is dead or shot.

Omg I am loving this season...first I thought I wouldn't make it without "If Loving you is Wrong" but season 3 of the haves and the have bots have glued. We are so excited by the second. Wait a minute when we are looking at the preview for next week, we are constantly trying to pause and rewind to see who Jim is hitting in the head. Or whom will he hit in the head. This show brings the family together in full conversation and we begin to talk about all aspects of life. Can you say thank you Mr. PERRY FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND EXCELLENCE WE APPRECIATE IT. Wish you can see my 6 year old son he is a huge fan of the legend Mr. Michael Jackson himself but he can quote all of Madea with his eyes close.

Has anyone noticed how badly written & produced this garbage is? Ever notice how long the actors take to speak one line? Actor 1: I love you (15 second pause) Actor 2: What? (10 seconds) Actor 1: I said, (8 second pause) I love you. Actor 2: (10 second pause) Why? Actor 1: (6 second pause) Bacause. (5 second pause) Because I do. And this is the way EVERY interaction on the show plays out. Time killers!! And we don't want to mention the milquetoast black men. These guys are pathetic! Anybody know guys like them? Letting an evil black woman just run roughshod over them. And doing NOTHING about it!! Perry has gotten people suckered. It's time to cut the diva named Perry, loose, people. He's insulting your intelligence & playing you for fools. And why is it that during the promos, he's sitting in the middle of the cast? What's with that? DIVA!!!!

I LOVE to watch this show with my family. It keeps me on the edge of my seat every Tuesday night. Sometimes I wish they showed the season 1 episodes from the beginning or have them on demand so the people that never watched the show before can have a chance. I have so many friends and family members that never seen it and want to watch it from the beginning. I also have friends and family that missed episodes that cannot be found online, on demand, and they never show them again on OWN. I'm glad that I am up to date with all the shows, but I really feel bad for them to miss out on such an excellent show... put them online, on demand, SOMEWHERE!!! Thankyou lol. Can't wait for the new episode tonight....

January 27, 2015*******Watch and be aware that the enemy will try to draw you into old traps. The result of falling into the same trap over and over again will result in your inability to move forward as you encounter one dead end after another. Now is the time to pay attention and to learn to avoid the first step that leads you down the wrong path, says the Lord. Stay in the flow of My Spirit. Ecclesiastes 9:12 For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.
