For Better Or Worse, Tyler Perry’s sit-com centers around two of Perry’s favorite characters from the big screen- Marcus and Angela. Marcus and Angela were first introduced to the world in Tyler Perry’s blockbuster hit feature films… “Why Did I Get Married”, and “Why Did I Get Married Too”.

For Better Or Worse is a not-so-subtle situation comedy that follows the zany and sometimes tumultuous relationship of the lovesick couple. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White are back to reprise their roles in the half-hour show. Michael plays Marcus, an ex football player turned sports commentator who owns his own sports talk show. Tasha Smith also resumes her role as Angela, the edgy and outspoken wife of Marcus who is dedicated to her husband, children, and marriage. The show also follows the lives of those who Marcus and Angela call their friends. There is Joseph, Marcus’ best friend and business partner. Joseph is left devastated by his breakup with long-time girlfriend, Leslie. Tired of waiting for a proposal from Joseph, Leslie has moved on to bigger and better things while staying focused on her career and her undying friendship with Angela. Keisha, Marcus’ ex- continues to cause a world of trouble for the group of friends and colleagues. And Jennifer and Todd are still as crazy as ever.

For Better Or Worse is ground breaking television, and is one of the biggest TV shows movie mogul Tyler Perry has ever produced. The sets, high fashion, and the strikingly good looking cast come together to create a truly sexy and provocative half-hour of television. Viewers will experience a fresh approach to the traditional sit-com format that will provide all the elements of well-crafted storytelling and the raw intrigue of reality TV. For Better Or Worse explores the controversial and joyous moments associated with marriage and dating in a 21st Century world. And like always, viewers will leave with life changing messages that have become a trademark of the Perry brand of entertainment. Don’t miss the next Tyler Perry hit… For Better Or Worse.

I totally agree. STOP WITH KEISHA!!!!!! She really needs to get what's coming to her. And Leslie is crazy she needs to come down off her high horse.

I am really alarmed at all of the negative comments of feedback on this board. It seems like everyone here is making it a point to be critical...it's a SITCOM folks, don't take it so seriously. It is TV entertainment and NOT a documentary. I have really enjoyed the season and hope it lives on. As for the plot, I hated to see Leslie and Chris split up. Eventhough, we've seen plenty of women go for the loser instead of the good guy. I agree with another one of the commenters that I would rather see Leslie & Chris reunite...but definitely NOT have her back with Joseph. I also agree that it would be nice to see more things going on with Jennifer, maybe have a couple of guys pursue her...she's cool!

Joseph Asked leslie to married him during season one, and she said no.

Please stop playing commercials for this program and let it die. There are a lot of programs on OWN but "For Better or Worse" is the absolute worse show on TV and the commercials are a constant reminder that someone won't let it go. It's not funny. There are couple of actors on the show with potential so use them for another series and let this one die (quickly). At the very least reduce (if not remove) the commercials.

Please bring chris back,he was a really nice guy. ladies need to learn not to settle for less, she left Joeseph for a reason and got married to chris. maybe another character should be introduced as joseph's love interest so both him and leslie can move on and leslie should get back with chris and work on their marriage

For Better or Worse was a little better this week. I agree though, Chris & Leslie need to get back together. Please bring Chris back.

I agree bring Chris back I don't like Joseph and Leslie together their life together is boring. Chris was great and their live was gud. Leslie and Joseph a no go and the way it's dragging on and on episode after episode is just too much. This is wut we expected to happen based upon the show itself but it does nothing for audience. Leslie needs to appear more interested in Chris wen they are together. He is so handsome and fine and yet she just wants to smack him on the l*** like she is afraid of him but is more in to it wen she kisses Joseph. I luv the show but right now it seems that is just dragging out to long with each character with no real excitement.

I LOVE TASHA!!!! SHE STAYS FLY NO MATTER WHAT!!! With that being said, BRING CHRIS BACK!!! The situation between him and Leslie came and went too fast, clean and easy. There's no real drama! We NEED MORE DRAMA. Also, I understand cliffhangers but sometimes simple plots take too long to peak and then end. AND WHAT HAPPENED TO JENNIFER AND HER DRAMA??? She slept with that guy with HIV but it was never resolved as to what her results were. So for the future, bring Chris back and make Leslie come to her senses, get Joseph a girl, but keep a small flame lit between he and Leslie; clear things up with Jennifer (like bring a temporary guy into her life where she has to talk about what happened with the last guy with HIV) that's simple; Tasha and Marcus need some drama just a little, and DO NOT let Kiesha win! No matter what, it's easier to make her loose because that can go many ways!! These are just my food for thoughts. I know it's your show Mr Perry, I'm just and outsider looking in. DSB

I agree that Jennifer needs more things going in her life. I think Joseph is a true a-hole, but he is realistic and so is Keisha! :-)

Where does Angela clothes come from?

  • Dee

Hello, Mr. Perry. I enjoy most of your movies and television shows. Everything is not for everyone, but that's okay. A little something for most. Ok, I like FBOW, but I don't like the Keisha character. As someone else said, please don't let her win. Also, I'd like to see Leslie and Chris back together. Can we get some true inter-ethnic love on TV. Yes, I said inter-ethnic not interracial because there is truly only one race-human! I commend you, sir, because you keep some folk working. Much love to you. God bless. Dee T.

I agree with Dee. Keisha's character is probably one that we are supposed to love to hate. But I don't love to hate the character, I just don't like so much of her in the show. And I also agree about the follow up on Jennifer as someone posted.

It's a great day today Tyler, but I must agree with some of your fans post. Leslie did not committ to her marriage. Usually, rich men are smart, they will not allow themselves to get caught up with a tramp. She gave Joseph the milk, he refuse to buy the cow, so let them both stay in the barn together. This makes our black women look cheap, and desperate. Now, may our God continue to Bless you until you are better paid, in Jesus mighty name.
