Description:

For Better Or Worse, Tyler Perry’s sit-com centers around two of Perry’s favorite characters from the big screen- Marcus and Angela. Marcus and Angela were first introduced to the world in Tyler Perry’s blockbuster hit feature films… “Why Did I Get Married”, and “Why Did I Get Married Too”.

For Better Or Worse is a not-so-subtle situation comedy that follows the zany and sometimes tumultuous relationship of the lovesick couple. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White are back to reprise their roles in the half-hour show. Michael plays Marcus, an ex football player turned sports commentator who owns his own sports talk show. Tasha Smith also resumes her role as Angela, the edgy and outspoken wife of Marcus who is dedicated to her husband, children, and marriage. The show also follows the lives of those who Marcus and Angela call their friends. There is Joseph, Marcus’ best friend and business partner. Joseph is left devastated by his breakup with long-time girlfriend, Leslie. Tired of waiting for a proposal from Joseph, Leslie has moved on to bigger and better things while staying focused on her career and her undying friendship with Angela. Keisha, Marcus’ ex- continues to cause a world of trouble for the group of friends and colleagues. And Jennifer and Todd are still as crazy as ever.

For Better Or Worse is ground breaking television, and is one of the biggest TV shows movie mogul Tyler Perry has ever produced. The sets, high fashion, and the strikingly good looking cast come together to create a truly sexy and provocative half-hour of television. Viewers will experience a fresh approach to the traditional sit-com format that will provide all the elements of well-crafted storytelling and the raw intrigue of reality TV. For Better Or Worse explores the controversial and joyous moments associated with marriage and dating in a 21st Century world. And like always, viewers will leave with life changing messages that have become a trademark of the Perry brand of entertainment. Don’t miss the next Tyler Perry hit… For Better Or Worse.

I was such a fan of this show. I am trying to hang in there but the writing is horrible! They waste 10 minutes going back and forth about one thing. All the while the laugh track goes off after every sentence! PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE WRITING!

First, I would like to say that I watch all of the TP television shows and have seen every movie and every play. I am a fan! HOWEVER...I just HAVE to say SOMETHING about the most recent episode of "For Better or Worse". I am a dedicated TP fan and watch all of your productions, and I just don't understand why you allowed Oleta Adams to sing "Get Here" live on the show. It was TERRIBLE!!!! It would have been better for her to lip sync than to sound like she lost her voice. I don't know if she had some type of sickness that affected her voice, but it was a great disappointment. I was excited when I saw that she was going to sing it ... and then she started singing and her voice cracked and I was crushed. Please enlighten me. Thanks, Missie

I said I wouldn't watch if Joseph and Leslie were not getting back together. A friend told me there were and I watched the last episode with the flowers & the whole nine yards. Was very pleased until I seen the previews for the next episode. Why so much wasted time, just get them back together. Reading some of the post, yes this show was very good in past seasons. Jennifer/Todd too unrealistic!! Marcus and Angela's roles have died down... Keisha too over the top acting. Yes why not let the characters from Why did I get married Stop by. Or get characters to play their roles. Please don't let it get like House of Payne or Love thy Neighbor--

I think that Leslie and Joseph together are a VERY BORING couple. They look like Ken and Barbie. Not realistic when representing the majority. I would love to see Jennifer with a man that is attractive and in LOVE and not a temporary relationship. She is the only one that has not had a consistent companion. It appears that only thin women can get a man. Jennifer represents alot of women out there. Jennifer is a barrel of laughs. I would also like to see Leslie with someone that does not look like Ken and vice versa.

First let me say that I love For Better or Worse, but I wish they would stop focusing weeks or even whole seasons on one or two characters. Move it back to TBS it was much better then than now. Stop taking a whole season to drag out one story line and stop with the c*** of Angela always trying to put Jennifer down. Todd's antics aren't really funny either, so its time to move on from that and marry Joseph and Leslie and divorce Richard and Keisha and find him a good woman and send her to Siberia! Have some guest appearances from some of the cast of Why Did I Get Married I & II. Come on Tyler Perry wake up before you completely kill a good thing AGAIN as you did with House of Payne and Meet the Browns. Those 2 should NEVER have been cancelled to make way for the nonsense you are putting out now!

I like the show, the story line can be interesting at times but the laugh track is so annoying, distracting and over used. In my opinion what would improve the show is better writers. Too much of the same thing is said just to fill air time as if the writers ran out of words or thought process.

I liked Jennifer's character better when she was just a single black mom trying to make it and looking for love. The way you have her character now make me not want to watch the show. You have dumbed her down.

For Better or Worse was a better quality show on TBS. Something happened to it on the way to Own. Doesn't seem as if enough thought goes into the scripts anymore. In the last season sickening Keysha got to much attention with weak storylines. The actors act as if they're doing a play instead of TV. But there 's hope for this show. Can't say the same for Love thy neighbor. Poor acting and writing ! Can the show and bring back House of Payne. That was well written, acted and made positive societal statements. There was always a positive moral to learn. A great combination of comedy and drama.

I know what you mean Sandra! It was so good when it was on TBS. I think they need to remember what caused viewers to watch in the first place....ANGELA AND MAnRCUS!!!!! I don't think the viewers mind an occasional episode which focuses on the others in the cast, but to devote a whole season to Leslie and Joseph, and then to begin a new season which still focuses on them is just too much and not at all what we want to see. I want to see the show go back to focusing on Angela and Marcus and their family and their issues etc. Where the heck is the little son MJ? Oh he just vanished last season....should we call Nancy Grace!? I was so excited for this show to come back on....and now I didn't even remember it came on tonight until someone said something.....
