    Tyler, I have enjoyed everything you have done, movies, plays, interviews, etc. Please do not ever stop. People in today's world need and hour or so of laughter and being able to forget the miserable circumstances of our world, and you provide this. I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished when everything was going against you. Just wish there were more people like you in this world. I don't think I have ever heard you or heard it reported where you blame race for your situation. Seems this is the excuse so many people use now. I feel like I didn't have anything to do with slavery (and no one else now days did either), so why can people just let it go and live and try and make a better place for our children. Doesn't seem like some people want to make an honest living and want to use any excuse they can to get something for nothing. Sorry for the reasons you are not touring any longer, but if your heart tells you you need to do something, I think you should do that. People that are doing wrong will have to answer for their actions. If you can touch or make life a little better for a few people, I feel you should. GOD gave you the talent and sense enough to use it and you sure know how. Again, I love what you stand for and all your talent. Keep up the good work. GOD bless you and all your future endeavors. If you make it, people will come.

    conversations go on on this board overnight. I wonder if you all live in a different time zone where it is earlier or are you up on this board in the wee hours of the night. Maybe you sleep during the day, work evenings. Had to get up and sit under the dryer, bored and now everyone is sleep on this board. I guess I could have used my time more constructively, anyway, and read a book. Oh well, Happy Sunday and blessings to all. Make it a great day! I'll have to I must have had unpleasant dreams about particular people. Whenever I do I wake up in vent mode. I noticed whenever particular people show up in my dreams (i.e. my ex) whether the dream is a pleasant one or not, I wake up in a bad mood.

    why people feel the need to control the lives of others. Why people want to choose who you date or do not date. If like somone, they want to tell you how that person is not a good match for you. If you don't want to date someone, they tell you you are overlooking something that you should be looking at. What's it to you?! I'm not sleeping with you and you are not paying my bills so step the heck off. What's with everyone trying to control folks lives. Then if you pay close enough attention to their lives, you will see that they are all screwed up. You can't make no major life decision for me!! That pisses me the h.e.l.l. off.

      that the only decisions I choose to regret are the ones I made based on what other people thought. Even if it turned out to be a bad decision, if I made it based on my own beliefs and convictions, I totally never have feelings of guilt or regret. I think its part of life's learning experience. The decision I made because it was part of the "in" crowd or based on the influence of someone else, I totally regretted it and found those are the hardest to let go of and tend to haunt you down the road.

      ...making my own "decisions" and "mistakes"; it's a part of life. It basically keeps one balanced, where as when you allow others to "control" your life; you never really get the full benefit that comes with a "learning experience". For example: We're all students in this world therefore I must take my own tests and choose my own multiple choice answer. Then when my test is reviewed, I must continue to focus on learning the correct answer to those wrong decisions (choices) I made. We can allow someone else to give us the answers, copy from them or take the test for us. We MUST GO THROUGH our test (LIFE) one question (STEP) AT A TIME.

      that when a choice is based on coersion, my mental state changes. I will not be as open minded about it because it was not based on my own decision. Thinking back to my younger days, if I went out someone because everyone thought they were right for me and I wasnt necessary drawn to the person right away, I went in looking for flaws so nevertheless it never got far. Because it wasn't my decision. If I met someone and wasn't necessarily drawn to them right away. We became friends without the involvement of others. We grew to love each other. We got married and to this day, that is the best relationship I ever had. ***************** The reason for my ranting this morning is because there is someone that I know very well, good friends already, but I don't feel drawn to this person in any other way, but someone seems to keep trying to force me to look at them in a different light. It's not going to work!!!! If it was meant to be it would have happened naturally, not by coercion.

      night that I was hanging out with the friend that someone is telling me I should date. The dream was pleasant but I woke up in a bad mood feeling like folks are trying to alter my emotions against my will with they persistence. I hate that!

      In the dream, or real life, maybe your friends meant well because they do not want you to be alone. They probably don't see you dating or know who you have your eye on; therefore they maybe attempting to "hook you up". Those of us who have private lives, need to let them know in a very firm way, that we do not need their help. Even go so far as to say I myself am waiting for God to prepare and send someone my way." or whatever but remain private. Because we already know how relationships go when friends try to play match maker or we choose ourselves.

      I think that God could send you someone through a friend. It doesnt matter how you meet the person. It's just the wrong ones. If I say I don't want to date somone, let it go. If they introduced me to someone who I actually liked, I would not mind being set up. What I was saying is stop trying to force me to like who you want me to like. Okay, you are concerned, nice. But if I say this one is not for me, accept it.

      if they want to introduce me to somone, just introduce us and leave it at that. I may not feel an attraction to them and they may not like me either. Either way if fine, but you don't have to force people to hook up just because they are single and you think they need to be with anybody.

    hi tyler am 30yrs old lost my mom and my dad last year my mpm was deafinetly a the best mom in the world as to all moms my dad was great they were both from kenya my dad was a decorated army solder that provided for all of us meaning my extended family and us as kids there is a great touching story behind all this my mom passed last year on jan 6 my dad this year 3-4-12 he died because of stress missing my mom its amaizing after raising an extended family had so much in his mind i feel like your the best person to even hear what he has been thru mu grandma in africa is 90yrs old he has done more for others and am humble to ask if u can get a script and know about him its a lesson to this world as a dad was never selfish rtd major kimaru and the reason he retired hope to hear from u .

I’m currently a student at Shakespeare Theatre Company and I have huge dreams that have been working towards and skills I have been perfecting for years. And so, I’m writing to ask you to give me another chance at auditioning for you. I’ve been praying about my acting career, but I know that faith without work won’t get me anywhere. I have the faith part down and now I’m doing the work part by asking for a second audition. I’m a pretty persistent person when it comes to something I’m really passionate about, so I plan on posting this to your wall every chance I get, until I get your attention. God said ask.     You Just don't stop amazing us. Your ability to recreate and reinvent yourself is astounding. From Madea to Alex Cross......what could possibly be next? You are going down in the history books as the greatest writer and actor ever! Tyler I believe you have just crossover to the likes of Steven Speilburg. I am so proud of you and will be seeing this movie so that when it is talked about years from now I can say that I was there. Love ya always and stay safe.     Bonjour Tyler, aujourd'hui il pleut, et je trouve la journee parfaite pour t'ecrire, je suis congolaise et je connais quelques un de tes films, je peux ecrire anglais mais je ne veux pas faire trop de fautes... comment pourrais je te parler sans que ce soit publique? sur un film...mon mail sera peut etre perdue parmis tous les mails que tu recois, mais on ne sait jamais peut etre pas. porte toi bien surtout. faudrait il absolument ecrire en anglais ou pourrais je ecrire en Francais?

    I read this and I just experience something like this. But I have learned quite a bit from moving on and forgiving. I talk to my father and he gives me the needed signs. I have always given, loved unconditionally and the devil has always tried me on this. I just keep right on giving and loving but in the direction that he guides me to. So I know what you are saying is very much the truth and what one has to come to grips with or they will always be hurt or disappointed. My mother always said "do what you are suppose to do and do not worry about the other person cause God has it in his hands". I think she knew what she was talking about. I am a professional singer, dancer and actress so I have had a lot of users come at me but I now see them before they get here. Thank you for word on this. Paulette P.S. See me on facebook.
