I rarely ever write on message boards, but I lead to do so. I can relate in so many ways to your posting about "Frustrated Dreamers". I had just complaint to my mother about my personal life situations, working a part-time job recently graduating with a Master's degree and not being able to find full-time employment, being a single mother and supporting my family by myself, not being able to save, etc. (I am working on not complaining so much and really trusting God). I really feel like there are so many thing that I could/should be doing. I know that God has a plan for me, but I fell like I am stuck. When my mother forwarded me the email, I read it. To be truthful, I don't normally read email she sends, because she is always sending a forward or something of that nature. But this time I took the time out to read it, and I am so glad I did! Oh my goodness, it was right on time! I really feel the way you described. I'm at a place where I don't understand why things are the way they are, but I am really learning to trust God. He is teaching me that he is my source for everything! And though I struggle at times to really trust him, he still comes through for me. I know that what I have to do is great, but at the same time I feel I'm just waiting for something I don't see coming. I don't see it, but I know it's there. I have so many wonderful ideas, but I don't have the resources I need. At the end of the day, if I really truly trust God, I will believe in his promises to me. And although it may not be in my time, he will do what he promised. So I just wanted to say that I am encouraged. Some times we do not even realize how much we can affect someone else. I can say that what you said was inspiring and encouraging that God is going to do what he promised me. They use to tell me as a child "God may not come when you want him, but he's right on time". Keep encouraging and moving forward. We appreciate you for what you do and for who you are. God knows what he is doing and he placed you where you are today to be a blessing to others. The amazing part is he had it in his plans all along. And though we may not know everything, he does. That is enough for me to have faith that everything will be alright! Thank you and may God continue to bless you greatly! Nina

Dear Mr. Perry, I realize that you receive thousands of email and request every single day, however I can only pray that there will something in this particular email that will warrant a response from you. First and foremost, given honor to God who is the head of my life, I give him thanks for every trouble and blessing in my life. I thank him for you and the inspirational corner messages that I watch of you on YouTube. I am writing to you so that maybe you and I can befriend one another well enough for you to help me with a project. I live in Amarillo Texas, which is in the Texas panhandle and about 2 hours north of Lubbock Texas and Texas Tech University. I was fortunate to receive a degree from Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma. I was blessed enough after being a single mom for 11 1/2 years to find my soul mate and become his wife at the age of 43. From this union I became the mother of two more sons ages 14 and 13. Together my husband Craig and I have four children three boys ages 15, 14, and 13. We have one daughter age 12, she looks just like the little girl that played China in 'Daddys little Girl'. Since my husband and I have been together we have been through so much in roughly 3.5 years. In he first year we have been through his mother having rectal cancer,(survivor now) thank God, I have had a heart attack. In the second year, I had a hysterectomy and shortly afterwards my father went home to be with God. This was an awful time for me because I watch my father dwindle down to nothing in about 9 months. He and I became engaged and my dad died 42 days later. I was married without my father in April of 2012 and now one year later I have had a knee surgery on May 13th. My husband has never said a unkind word our given up or anything. He reminds me of you. He is quiet and all about business and family and God (not in that order). I have watched his body become harder and harder to do his job but he stills does it. He works all night in sub zero temperatures and it is hard on him. We want to go into a business and venture out because pretty soon we will have 4 children in college at the same time. I was wondering if you can help me figure out how to get a business plan together well enough to get a yes from a city that is very very slow to give a yes to someone of African American decent. I would like to talk to you in detail without saying to much here that someone else can take my ideas from me. If it is at all possible in your extremely busy schedule to contact me and offer me a little advice or even just let me know that you can not help me or just hear my whole story that maybe you can turn into a play for yourself I would appreciate it. My email address is : am on Facebook as well under : Felicia Brown Thank you for you time , God Bless & Favor you, Felicia Brown

Mr Perry, I am sure you get these everyday, but I am a single parent of 4 with my oldest starting College in the Fall. His desire is to be a Pharmacist and I am finding that it is almost impossible to get a good education if you are in a single parent household. Do you participate in any programs that help families with a college education, like essay writing or similar qualifying activities. Thank you for your time. S

Entering Northside Hospital, Atlanta, GA for a double mastectomy on June 25. I have managed to smile through the diagnosis and decision. My plan is to keep smiling. What I lose on June 25 has never defined who I am. What I lose will only highlight what I have yet to gain. I'll be there for a couple of days. I plan to smile on my own .. but it sure would be nice to broaden my smile? Can THE Mr. Tyler Perry visit me if he's in town :-D. We have NOT because we ASK not. So, why not try? :-D Blessings and Health always, CC

Got to make a List so I won't forget nothing. I'll go to the store but I need my family to cook the stuff. I love for them to know that I was thinking bout them in everything I do. Too many things on my list so now I have to narrow it.

Mr. Perry I'm a big admirer of your work. I'm wondering does your Tyler Perry Foundation do any missions in the NY/NJ area? If so, how do we sign up to participate? Thank you!
