Tyler, I've heard so many things about the Madea Christmas play, but I had never had the chance to really sit down and watch it until recently. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! I could relate to some of the details of the play, sometimes we make the mistake of choosing partners based on what our family members or friends say rather than follow our own hearts (keeping up with appearances)!!!!!!!!! I was happy when China decided to follow her heart and chose Eric in the end. Although I didn't entirely understand why Lillian and John chose to keep their divorce a secret, I definitely loved how you touched on the subject of Margaret being seen more as a "lowly servant" by her employers, rather than a human being. I hated how Lillian tried to make Margaret feel inferior to her when trying to convince Margaret to give up Christmas with her family so she could "serve" Lillian's. Money can buy you a lot of things, but it can't by you family or the love of Christ (especially during the holiday season, this was one of the biggest lessons I learned watching this). It's easy to get wrapped up in money, gifts, vacations, etc... when Christmas comes around each year. However, we can never lose sight or take for granted of how special those times are (we should also never take the people we love for granted, not just at Christmas, but all year long)!!!!!!!!!!! Above all else, I LOVED the characters Hattie and Aunt Bam, and as always Madea was a treat!!!!!!!!!! Keep doing your thing, Tyler, you're making me proud. P.S.- I love it when you work with Tony Grant, I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Madea Christmas. I play it when ever I deal with my special ed. family, which is a lot. I have been out of touch with you through my e-mail address which after all this time I have forgot what it was. I want to tell of my experience in 1986 when I had TMJ surgenry from a fall I had at age 15. All my dentists thourght I was crazy down through the years. Finally one day a specialist was at the dentist office I went to with a brown paper bag and set in the middle of the floor and said either help me or kill me because I am not going any where. So, the speciallist ask me to sit down in a chair, then he ask me to b*** down and told them what was wrong with me. I thank God for that speciallist till this day. The day before the surgery I rented a movie called "Coma", you see where this is going. Anyway the next morning I had surgenry. When I woke-up I started crying out of control because when took my hands and felt all the bandages over my head, around my neck and ears and all I could see was an opening for my mouth, nose, and eyes. Of course, my mind went wild. I accuse the doctors of during two suergenries instead of one, because of all the bandages. When my doc, came he asked me who told me that and I said the bandages,I saw the movie, I only signed for one surgenry. They called me Ms Coma until I was released, so embrassing. I love every movie you have made.Thank for letting me share my experience with you.

ITS THE ONLY WAY I CAN FULLY EXPRESS MYSELF... Hi Mr. Perry my name is Delise White am 13 years old and ever since i was 10 years old i knew that when i grew up i would become one of the best nation's female African American filmmakers. I love writing for my screenplays and directing. My main goal in life is to make people laugh but realize the real things in life by watching the films I am going to direct, produce, and create, and write. Honesty, you and other film makers are my real inspirations in life I really don't have any role models in life besides my mother and grandmothers but they don't get my art. You know they help as much as they can but we can't relate. I just watched your play "Aunt Bam's Place" that was wonderful. I have family members life that and when I see them this summer for our family reunion I will be bringing this play with me. But I just wanted to tell you when I receiving my oscar for one of my films, I'll be mentioning you name as a mentor. Even though we haven't met yet, we will I hope. I have seen one of your plays life when you came to Baltimore but I would really like to work with you one day. Someday I'll have my own studios this is really the best thing I am good at. This is how I express my self and I know your probably not going to read this because your so busy but I'm gonna try anyway. I can't wait for "Marriage Counselor" to come out in 2013 with Kim K. and I can't wait to meet you someday I hope! : )
