The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

Great to see a woman having situations that are attached to an emotional advancement breakdown in her career coupled with a sexually intrigued methodical mindset. The trailer predicts a thought process that has a trail of confusion, hopelessness and loneliness yet wanting to find fulfillment to satisfy an urge in more than one place. Interestingly enough to bring it to a violent affair to regret every past thought of not having it all, yet to have an opportunity to sample a few moments that were bittersweet!

Hey Tyler, great tease for the movie. I am really eager to see where you take this..... I think that I and many women around me have been in the same situation. Being in a relationship (marriage or not) with the same individual for a length of time, with or without kids, there is a little voice that keeps asking " are you still that attractive individual that he and some others admired back then ??? Does he notice you changed anything??? and so on. Then, like in your movie 'Temptation' someone seems to hear you inner most thoughts and vocalizes them.... That is definitely scary. Echoes the Roberta Flack classic 'killing me softly'. Can't wait for my girls night out to see this one... there will be some crazy debates afterwards, there always are. Cheers!

Ok first off...lay off Tyler for putting Kim K. in his movie. If you who are bashing him as christians should be ashamed of yourselves. God is not smiling down on you for the awful words that you are putting in your emails. I am not a Kardashian fan but she has a right to be whom she is. I am sure we can find lots of bones in some of your closets, dresser drawers, under your beds. Lets look in the mirror before we cast judgement on any MAN or WOMAN. And Tyler you keep doing you my brother. Just remember to always put God first and he will lead you through. Stay Blessed Patty

Hello Mr. Perry, I think this movie is going to be one of your best ones yet. It will , prehapsit may encourage some cheaters to stop and think about the emotional pain that usually happens to our sufficent others in our lives. Another point the movie will address is, if we are married or dating someone we say we love. It is not wise to use a wrong ( cheat) to make a right especially for our own selfish lust which can create more problems on top of the ones we are already going thur. Carol
