Description:

The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

I am very impressed. I cannot wait to see it! I have some opinions, but I am going to keep them to myself. You have come this far; you have been around the block a few times and I think that you have good judgement. Keep your mind clear and be careful. I am not fond of using God or Jesus to make a point. When all else fails with an argument, sometimes people want to punch you in the face with poor Jesus or his Father. You take care and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Can't wait!! I would love to be there opening night and come back and share my experience with my radio listeners! We discuss relationships ALL the time but never the dark side of falling to temptation. I can definitely see your growth Tyler! What an inspiration you are to so many of us God bless you.

Awesome, never married and to tell you the truth. it scares me. all my long time buddys are married and what i have seen is that the woman lose everything. and the man gains 10 plus years of extra living. so people you tell me why a single woman would want to marry? and please just don,t say the bible says so.

WOW!!! Tyler I love this this film its very relatable. Who in the world has not been tempted? that's right we all have. Temptation is not the SIN it's how we respond to that temptation. What an awesome cast. Now this is what I'm talking about. I always expect greatness from you and you always bring it. Love you my brother and I truly respect your gift

This movie really hits home. I went through something similar in my first marriage. I cheated and destroyed all the trust my husband had for me. It would always come up when we would fight. I had a lot of issues growing up. Child abuse and an alcoholic father. I take responsibility for my actions and God has forgiven me. I remarried and am so thankful for the blessing God gave me.
