Description:
The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.
A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

Tyler, If it was your mission to save just one soul/one marriage with this movie then that was me. My husband and I have been struggling lately due to trials and tribulations and I was thinking about giving into temptation with someone else who showed me the attention I so much wanted and deserve. Then.... I watched this movie and it brought me back to the reality of consequences for MY choices. I was so bothered I had to leave the theatre just before it ended. I needed air!!! I called my husband to come pick me up from the theatre because I didn't even want to drive home by myself and I hugged him a little tighter and longer that night! This movie saved me and my marriage... Thank you for those of us who still need to be reminded from time to time that evil can sneak up on you and b*** you before you even realized what happened! God Bless YOU!!!!!

Tyler, Yiou hit the nail on the head with this one! It was such an accurate depiction of the seduction, deception and abuse of the devil that it was scary! This really does happen in real life. Ungodly men will entice you, seduce you, abuse you and destroy you if you are not wise. This film is a MUST SEE for all young ladies ( and men too). It really shows how the devil can tempt you to do something stupid and then ruin your life for making one mistake. God help us! Tyler, please do a part 2. I felt so sorry for Judith.

This was a really good film. It goes with the old saying that mom was always saying the grass is not always greener on the other side. Keep up the good work.

I seen the movie last night and was taken back. this is everyday life for some. It mos DEFINITELY drives home. Reminds you that whatever glitters isn't always gold. But when you haven't lived life, you don't know what is out there. I encourage young ones to live and learn before you get married and make sure that THAT marriage is what you want. It is sacred. I admired that the husband was willing to take her back, understanding that she was in a bad head space. I LOVE a man who fights for what he loves. I definitely thought it could have ended better tho . . but GREAT movie.

Really enjoyed the movie from start to finish. Saw it twice and will see it again. It drives home the message of leaving the 80% for the 20%. So very proud of you as always. God bless you.

I really enjoyed the movie TEMPTATION. It just goes to show you THE GRASS IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE, in fact when you choose to hurt someone without a cause you end up with WHEAT not grass. I must say REAL TALK , NO ONE IS EXEMPT FROM "TEMPTATION" we just have to think before we act.
