You Did It Again!!!

Hey Happy Easter,

Well, where can I start? I just want to say thank you for going to see Temptation at the movie theaters. You have no idea what this means to me. After 14 movies you are still coming, and many more people have joined in to support what I do. I say this often but you need to know it’s true, I never assume that you are going to show up, but thank you for doing so. Because you went to the movies to see this film all of my employees are very happy at Tyler Perry Studios…LOL. Just know I’m grateful.

I've been hanging out all weekend on my message board and on Facebook to see what you thought and wow! Some of the most powerful things I have ever read are on my message board. Thank you for opening up your lives and sharing your stories - stories of betrayal and of your own temptation, but most of all thank you for letting me know that this movie gave you hope or a new outlook, which is what it's all about for me. There were several testimonials of how this movie has spoken to marriages. One person wrote, "Thank you for this film, now I have closure." Several of you said that I must have been peeking in your window because this movie was too close to home. Another lady said that she left feeling hopeful, and another couple went home talking about how this movie stopped both of them from making the wrong decision. You have no idea how this moves me.

Again, thank you.

Hay big country! This woman I used to work with was a female pimp at one point in her life. Was madea ever a female pimp? I think she was. Had em in all different area codes. Tell madea we gonna pose for playboy! I'm just kidding. I saw the picture of you, well madea and sophia! I do not have cable. I can't afford it right now. If madea would hire me as one of her escorts, I would have cable. Tell her to call me so we can talk about it. I will let her pimp me. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and peace and stuff. I love you big country. Who will help madea to turn her life arounnd?

To Brother Tyler Perry I saw Temptation and I personally would say that this film should be viewed in schools,in our homes and everywhere in the Black communities as well as all communities in this country so everybody would think twice before cheating and focus and ask God to be sure that the person is the One they would marries and to be with before death and everyone in this film should be nominated a Oscar nod next year and Brother Tyler you should be respected and nominated as well forget Hollywood they don't understand anyway we need to see more good & positive films such as Temptation. Ten years ago you asked us Why Did I Get Married? This year you are asking us can we overcome the challenges and "temptations"in our marriages? With God All Things Are Possible

dear tyler, my mother and i went to the movies yesterday to see temptaion. you picked a wonderful cast and it was a good story. ive never been married but in the past i have been cheated on. i also cheated on this guy to get back at him for doing this to me. one day i took a look in the mirror and decided that this wasnt me at all. i remeber that my mother told me if a woman has had enough she will leave the situation. so i decided to pack my bags and i took everything out the house. the only thing that was still there was the toilet paper i should have taken that too. by doing that gave me the time to focus on myself. i know that one day a good man will come along, but for now im stress free. keep makeing good movies cause your movies and plays have really change me. there are times that i feel that you are speaking to me. i can relate to almost all of your movies. when im haveing a bad day, i pop in a madea movie to put a smile on my face. i hope you get a chance to read what i have written and if so give me a sign that will let me know that you have. once again you are a very talented person and never stop doing what you were meant to do. i hope you have a wonderful day.

I just left the theater. My friend told me to text her when I got out because she wanted to know what I thought of the movie. My first text to her was that the movie was just ok. I told her that I instantly knew that the woman was Judith so I figured out in the beginning how the movie was going to end. Glad to say that it ended up being a little deeper than that:) As I drove home the Lord began to minister to me. He replayed a few scenes back to me and caused me to reflect on how the enemy comes. Whether it's through what we think is innocent conversation or a compliment...he comes to steal kill and destroy. He's slick and will deceive you before you even notice you've been deceived. Trust me I've experienced it. The real reason for me going to see this movie had nothing at all to do with my opinion of the movie, how good it was, or how great the actors did. The Holy Spirit lead me to see this movie so that He could show me the power of His Grace. I witnessed a picture of the protocal son. Although he went his own way the father never stood in his way. And even when it's all said and done the father waited right there for him to come to the end of himself and celebrated his return home. I went to the theater tonight asking my God to speak to me about my teenage son who left home Saturday night. Please trust me when I say this is Totally out of character for him. I have not seen or spoken to him in 4 days. The unspeakable peace my father has given me through it all has been life changing. The more I think about it...it's not about my son at all. It's really about me learning to trust God. So after I left the movie I left with compassion for my son instead of anger:) I asked my father how He wanted me to respond to this once my son returns home...and I'm sure you already know what His answer was? He told me to receive him with open arms...and here's the most important part....He told me to NEVER bring it up again. That's what Love does...it covers a multitude of sin!!!

Hey Tyler , your new Temptation movie was Great really enjoy it , cant wait to see your up coming projects , also i hope you are coming up with a script for the Third sequel for Why did i get Married movie , i was thinking the film should focus more on Janet Jackson character and how she is dealing with her life after the lost of her husband , plus Terry character and how he is working things out with his wife even tho he has forgiven her for having desires of another man . i really enjoy your films keep up the good work man GOD BLESS

Hi Tyler, you are exciting. I love the movie and it is very close to your play "The Counselor", except it was as funny but the message is clear. God is not please with us fornicating and having sex out of marriage in any form of intimacies. We have to become adults that stand on what we believe without compromising messages. I cannot wait to see your next one coming. I really appreciate your movies and so very happy for us. You making them and me receiving them. Thank you. May God bless you continually and abundantly with love. Evangelist Andrea

I love the opportunity that God has afforded you and in return the opportunity that you afford to others. I also have a great appreciation for your work/stories and its great to know that your messages are still reaching the "masses"; still proving beneficial and touching lives. :-) Hopefully you'll be telling us that something else is coming out soon. It always gives me something to look forward to until I hear from you. Don't make us all wait until 2014 for another TP film. ;-p And FYI: As a seriously strong supporter of you, I know that I should love everything that you do, but I must admit however that my unyielding all-time top movie favorite is "Good Deeds". There have been plenty before that and even others afterwards, but nothing has been able to yank on my heartstrings more. Life and Love can be so complex but a person with a good/tender heart outshines/radiates brighter than the most beautiful multi-faceted diamond. ~Thank you for being "WHO" you are! Your stories come from within and its a beautiful thing!!!

Happy Belated Resurrection Day to you, Tyler. It was "brilliant" of you to schedule the release of "Temptation" on Good Friday. My daughter & I & my sister saw it at the 2:05 pm show on Friday. It was great! The actors & actresses chosen for the roles were perfect. I remember Mr. Robbie Jones from "Hurricane Season" with Forest Whitaker. You never disappoint us Tyler and we always get our money's worth. And in this case, then some! As I was coming out of the movie theatre, I told my daughter that I can see an Oscar nomination for this movie. You, as a director, writer, and producer certainly deserve it. I remember saying the same thing when I saw Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman" and he won that year. I think it was probably 2006. May God bless you, Tyler. We are so proud of you & all of your 14 movies. BTW, my daughter, who is 17, wanted to see the movie again so we went back on Resurrection Sunday and saw the 5:00 showing. As picky as my daughter is, that says a whole lot about this movie. All your wonderful beautiful and handsome stars........it was so cool. Later, Tyler....................
