Sorry This Took Me A Few Days

Y'all know I have to go get some rest after these crazy press tours.

Well, let me first say "thank you" to those of you who went to see The Single Moms Club. I don't take that for granted. Trust me. Thank you for going.

This was my 17th movie in 10 years. I wanted to mark this anniversary by saluting single moms everywhere. Thank you for allowing me to do that, and thank you to all the single moms for all you do. You're my heroes. And to all my diehard folks, to all of you, thank you for these past ten years of huge movie successes. You have been a blessing to me and to all the people who work for me, and with me. I thank you.

By the way, this is the first time in 10 years that I don't already have my next movie written or shot and ready to come out. That is because my focus for this past year has been on my TV shows on OWN. Just so you know, that's where you'll find me until I do another movie.

God bless you big time for all you've done for me and for the folks that work for me. We so appreciate it.

I'll see you in TV land on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Found on Buzz Feed in relation to "Noah" the movies opening - Congrats they are beginning 2 see you in a better light: 3/30/14.. Your dong something right.. <3 <3 <3 That is certainly enough to sustain these films at a certain budget level for a niche audience, but ever since Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ pulled in $370.3 million in the U.S. in 2004, filmmakers have been striving to tap into what seems like a vastly underserved audience. Hollywood’s biggest attempt, 2006’s The Nativity Story, made just $37.6 million, and the efforts of independent producers have usually pulled in just a fraction of that amount. (One exception: Tyler Perry’s one-man industry of crowd-pleasing comedies and dramas made with a clear message rooted in Christian morality.) @)----

Just saw your play H*** Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scored. It was great, my mother and I cracked up at Hattie Mae trying to be like Madea. The guy playing the Pastor and the new husband could really sing. Pepsi Reilly was brilliant as always so was Patrice. The only thing missing was you and your statement at the end. Enjoyed ourselves. Going to Greenbergs Amite and Hammond in May with Pastor Banks for church convention. His hometown, remembers you as a young man. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and much love to you...keep producing we'll keep coming.

Hi Mr. Perry, Sorry I haven't commented in awhile. Life!!!!!! Oh my goodness!! Well, I did get a chance to see The SMC movie on opening night. I loved it! I just kept thinking, though, something deeper could have been said as a tribute. I could add thoughts from my experience. Hey, do a Single Dads Club too! Because that population is growing fast and they will need some help. Wow, I wish I could've been in Grand Turk with you. You are living the life! (I'm not jealous...LOL) :oD Stay Blessed, Your Sis' in Christ Jesus (Love You!)

I hate this movie did not do better it's first week. Maybe it was the weather IDK . But it seems sometimes we can only support 100% the buffoonery movies. (Not meant negatively) but why can't we support they serious movies as well as the comedies? I wanted to see if my dealings as a single mom were in it. I am a mix btwn The Latina & Wendy characters. Don't have my child see my dates but have her in so much I really don't have a life because taking her everywhere (no nannies here, LOL) ! Yet still trying to maintain my own career. Keep it up TP!
