Don't Let Anybody Define You!

I live my life outside of the box because when I die they're going to put me into one!

Many times in this life, people will try to tell you what you can and cannot do. They will also try to tell you who you are and who you are not. DON’T LET ANYBODY DEFINE YOU! When I was a kid, I had a teacher tell me that I would never be a millionaire because I was black and the system was set up to keep me down. This was a TEACHER! Can you believe that? I’m so glad that my little boy mind didn’t accept that. I have often been told that I wouldn’t make it because I was poor or because of the color of my skin. I had family members tell me I would never make it and my dreams would never come true for one reason or another... boy were they wrong. If I had listened to any of those voices I wouldn’t be here writing this to you. Hear me when I say this to you: no matter what anyone says to you, LIVE YOUR LIFE!! Follow that still small voice inside of you. That is GOD’s Holy Spirit and I think we all have the capacity to hear that voice. We just need to still ourselves to hear it. You must silence all the outside voices in order to hear THE voice. I try to stay as clear as I can so that I can hear it. It’s not always easy, but necessary.

This is your life. Make decisions based on your own path. Let no one define it for you!

If you live the life everyone else wants you to live and you never live the life you want to live, then are you really living??

Life is so short... Live it to the fullest!!

Tyler, you have got to check this out and pass the word. Mr. Horton has so much he has stored away because all of this exhibit can not fit into the small space at the North Dekalb Mall and Greenbriar Mall. This is something not even "you" have ever seen. He recently added Janie Foxx, Django Unchained! For More Information: The Exhibit features African American legends of great distinction, including Kings and Queens of ancient Africa, Pioneers in culture, art, science, industry and religion. There are collections on the Civil Rights Movement, Early African American Doctors, Scientists, and Entrepreneurs. Some of the exhibit tables include Vinyl Records of Motown Singers, Photographs of N**** Baseball League Players, Historical Books, African-American Art, as well as The Tuskegee Airmen, The Buffalo Soldiers, army President Obama and Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, The first African American Disney Princess, Old Utensils Grandma Used, and much more ~ displays like you have never seen before. Truly, it will be a memorable experience for children and adults of all ages.

Five words to describe you .. "A blessing to our world" Thank you for inspiring the world with your work and your inner soul through it. Your words are exactly correct. The only words that were written to define us was in the scripture. In him, with him and through him, all things are possible. Keep on creating and filling that spirit of yours and thank you for inspiring ours in the process....You are god's love made visible.....Amen:)

Hello Tyler, My Dream is to Continue doing Outreach in the Community right now Gods ministry is starting to grow. I'm currently looking for a building in newton county where I can open a children's theater for children and adults to come to receive the word of God through child like faith.. while having characters and so much fun that they will want to come back for more, while all the while be planting seeds to grow Gods kingdom I have Created Cow Girl Dixie Ministries (like on facebook) Cow Girl Dixie is a funny Character the Kids love, as well as the adults take to her. She loves Jesus so much. So with that all being said, My Dream is to have a place where Kids can come to along with there parents where they can be Ministered to through the eyes of a child.. I'm excited and know God will open all the doors possible for this to happen in his own time.. Mean while I will still continue to hit the streets before and after this happens.. this is a New Year and I'm claiming all this In Jesus Name... Tyler I just wanted to thank you for giving me inspiration to know that all things are possible to all those that believe in Christ... keep doing what your doing... Thank you for giving all of us that have been abused hope! God Bless 2013 Evelyn Crews

Your Statement is so True. God Blessed me with a inner light that shines so bright, yet over my adult years I allowed the wrong people to come into my peace. I'm So Ready to Prosper More than I ever have before, for my son & I. I am ready to get back what I allowed the enemy to steal from me. & That's my Career, Peace, & Joy. I am 34yrs Old & Wise. Thanks for your Inspiration... :) With Love & Respect.. Wendy Bell..

I would like to say thank you again Tyler Perry for making my son Jonathan DREAM come true. He can't stop talking about you and his experience working on set for Single Mom's Club. He is determined to audition so that he can get a lead role for some of your future projects. I posted a comment when you first sent this message and this was one of my DREAMS. You are a great man! You have a very Big Heart and I pray that God continue to bless you in so many ways. I almost got discouraged and gave up but I'm so happy that I didn't. All I can say is if you have a DREAM big or small continue to push hard and stay strong. Please do not listen to the negative voices continue to surround yourself around positive people and God will open doors that no man can shut. I'm so proud to see my baby Jonathan happy. He will never forget that day. Thanks for the support Tyler Perry your messages are so encouraging : ) Love you all @ Tyler Perry Studios Happy Holiday

Dear Mr.Perry, I would write to you at your studio, but chances are the note would not get to you. Will you please show support for my initiative to establish a scholarship fund at Harvard University, that would aid students seeking to become civil rights attorney's, by writing to Mr. Charles B. Gordy II, J. D., Director of Planed Giving, at Harvard University, asking him to please exhaust all options possible in helping me find a way to establish the fund. The fund would be financed by money collected from the sale of 169 pieces of art created to honor the memory of Women lynched in America between 1880 and 1930. 100% of the revenue from the sale of the art would go to support the scholarship fund.

The only thing you should be focusing on at this point in your life, Mr. Perry, is an Oscar. If you don't get one before you retire you basically go down in the books as a also-ran. The problem is you won't ever get one if you keep cranking out your race movies. No, AC wasn't a race movie, but it actually was. And Witness Protection Program was a race movie despite the white cast members. You're not thinking outside the box, son. You keep confusing commercial success with artistic success. You need a quality script. Good news -- I've got one for you. Produce this movie and you'll get nominated -- and if you get nominated, you'll get the Oscar because Hollywood would like nothing more than to give you one -- if or no other reason to shut up Spike Lee. You may want to read the book first, so here's the link. I live in Atlanta right down the street from your studio and know a lot of the people you used to run with. And I'm not saying I write better humor than you, I'm just saying I don't have all the distractions you do. The premise of Witness was a funny as it gets, but the punchlines were not as punchy as they would have been had you time to work on them. I have nothing but time. For example, the scene where you throw water on the sleeping girl was brilliant, but the follow-up dialog could have been improved. Anyway, here's the book; email me for the script. Let's get started, my brother. "The Black Girl Who Became Queen of England"
